Hickman’s 596.47-kg (1315.2-lb) colossal cupcake became greater than just dessert, as moments before the second annual THINK PINK ROCKS fundraising concert began, the treat was wheeled out for assessment by Guinness World Records™ adjudicator Danny Girton Jr., who found the cupcake really was a world beater.
Throughout the THINK PINK ROCKS concert, dozens of people donated money in exchange for a piece of the prized pink cupcake, which was reduced to crumbs by evening's end.
The THINK PINK ROCKS concert was launched in 2008 by Stephanie Robin, a cancer-fighter who founded Think Pink in 2005 as an organization dedicated to cancer research, treatment, and screening.
